Went and saw Union Pacific Big Boy 4014 in St. Paul, MN today. It’s pretty awesome.

The internet tells me Gordon is based on the Great Northern Railway’s 4-6-2 Pacific A1 locomotives:
Seems about right and a great deal smaller than the 4-8-8-4 Big Boy

It l eaves tomorrow morning at 8 but is on display until 3pm I think today. You can still see it pretty easy from the fence though

It went thru Nebraska for the week of 4th of July. It was great to here it tumble it’s way into town.
